Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment
Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment qualification provides the learner with everything they need to know about maintaining and improving health and safety at work. It delivers essential knowledge about key terms, legal responsibilities and reasons for good health and safety on a construction site.
The learner will also learn about personal protective equipment, emergencies, accident reporting, and dealing with ill-health within the construction environment. Successful qualification will earn a candidate four credits.
CITB Health, Safety and Environment ‘Touch-Screen-Test’
The CITB Health, safety and environment test helps the industry to improve its health, safety and environmental standards and forms a vital part of the requirement to obtain a construction industry scheme card, be it a Green Labourer, Blue Skilled Worker, Gold Supervisor or Black Manager card.
The HS&E test is an important way for construction workers to show that they can be safe on the job. It’s also a way for them to know that their fellow workers are as safe on the site and not put them at risk of injury.
We provide training which ensure that construction workers are able to have the knowledge they need. Training means helping people to learn, telling people all over the world
what they should or (often as important) should not do, or simply giving them information.
